Volunteering is an important way to support the students as well as meet other parents, faculty and staff. We appreciate ALL parents completing and returning this form by July 25, 2008. The content of this form will be emailed to the Development Office. We will make every effort to contact you for help in the areas for which you have expressed an interest. Please respond in a timely manner when a volunteer calls for your help.

Parent #1 Parent #2 Parents' Association General Event Participation
CHAPERONING: Chaperones are needed for student dances.
STAFF APPRECIATION COMMITTEE: Provide ongoing support & programs for BBHS teachers & staff.
LAST BLAST COMMITTEE: Two parents from each class are needed to help plan Last Blast for their respective senior class. Committee members will serve on committee through senior year.
OPEN HOUSE, NOV 13, 2008: Volunteers are needed to assist during the evening.
MOTHER/SON & FATHER/DAUGHTER EVENT, SPRING 2009: Coordinated by Freshman & Sophomore parents; open to all BBHS families; possibly involves a Mariners Game.
SNACK BAR, DEC 2008-FEB 2009: Parent volunteers coordinate the procuring for and staffing of the snack bar during all home boys and girls basketball games.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK, LATE JAN. OR EARLY FEB. 2009: Volunteers provide and serve daily treats for the staff and faculty in the faculty lounge.
SPRING LUNCHEON, SPRING 2009: Coordinate the entertainment, reservations, catering, decorations, set-up and clean-up for the luncheon & fashion show; students serve as models.
SPRING EXTRAVAGANZA, MAY 2009: Help to set-up, cook, serve lunch, & clean-up.
GRADUATION, MAY 31, 2009: Take tickets at door, needed 1 hour before ceremony.

PROCUREMENT: Help mobilize & motivate parents to obtain auction items. Requires making phone calls and sending emails to families by parish or previous school (Sept 2008 to Jan 2009).
RECEIVING ITEMS: Receive incoming items (Jan 2009, mornings).
RESERVATIONS: Record dinner reservations and guest placement; organize guest packets (Feb to Mar 2008, daytime).
DECORATIONS: Install room decorations and table centerpieces (during auction week, daytime).
DISPLAY: Transfer items from storage room to gyms; creatively arrange items on tables (during auction week, daytime).
REGISTRATION: Greet, register and assist guests (the evenings of Mar 13 and 15, 2008).
BANKING: Handle cash, credit, and Express Pay transactions; file certificates and receipts (the evenings of Mar 13 and 15, 2008)
SECURITY: Obtain & maintain security in auction areas (the evenings of Mar 13 and 15, 2008).
SILENT CLOSEOUT: Validate silent bid sheets at designated times (the evenings of Mar 13 and 15, 2008)
CLEAN UP: Assist students to clear & clean the gyms after the auctions (the evenings of Mar 13 and 15, 2008 and during the daytime of Mar 16, 2008).
