Braves Volleyball Program Mission: Our mission as a program is to foster healthy improvement of our student athletes, to teach our players how to succeed by improving and studying the game of volleyball, and to positively represent our Bishop Blanchet community.
Program Philosophy: Training sound fundamental and technical skills, positive coaching, and fostering strong relationships with our players, parents, and coaches will be our tools to build a successful program. An important part of our process is building a culture of continuous improvement where the coaches help each player gain insight into their strengths and weaknesses as a volleyball player. When a player earns a spot in our program, we assess their current skill level and map out their training according to their personal and their team's objectives and goals. The coaching staff will work with each player to capitalize on their strengths and help them to improve their weaknesses for the betterment of the team. Success is based on our improvement, not on anything else. We must teach them the "game" of volleyball by becoming students of the game. We must study the best teams in the world in order to focus on what we must improve upon and study our opponents in order to gain competitive advantages and to consistently compete at a high level. The betterment of the team comes before the individual, but by working on the individual, the team improves.
The Bishop Blanchet volleyball team has a wonderful coaching staff that includes over 20 total years of coaching experience for our program. Experience ranges from CYO and U12 teams to State Championship, Junior National finalist, and NCAA Division I coaching and playing experience!
Over the past week, our volleyball camp site was hacked and we have been working with our site host to fix the situation. Absolutely NO personal information was stolen but the Perfect Pass Volleyball website has been taken down due to security issues. The issues have been dealt with and corrected, but we've decided to take down the site and seek a safe site hosting company for our site.
If you'd like to register for any of the camps here is the info.
