As a private, Catholic, co-ed college preparatory school with over 26 honors and Advanced Placement courses, college-level work begins before ever setting foot on a university campus. An excellent college prep program is only one piece of the BBHS experience. You will find an unmatched array of elective offerings; from woodworking, 3-D modeling and sound engineering, to a professional quality theatre program, a wide range of competitive and no-cut sports, 50+ student run clubs and a campus ministry program focused on service and the formation of the whole student.
Small class sizes, low student to teacher ratio and integrated technology means that the learning experience is dynamic and engaging. We offer bus service to the Eastside, Capitol Hill, South Seattle, West Seattle, Magnolia and Queen Anne on our private buses to support many of the communities where our students live.

We are so proud of our seniors as they navigate their final months of high school remotely with grace, fortitude and resilience. They continue to lead by example and are ready to to graduate to the next chapter of their life, though we sorely miss not being able to celebrate the spring of their senior year together at BBHS.
As a small tribute to this amazing group of young people, our leadership team delivered over 210 yards signs to our seniors' homes during Easter break, to show our gratitude and love of this special class. As a tribute to our spring sport senior athletes; the lights of our home field, Mickey Naish Field, were lit on Friday, April 17 at 8:20 p.m. for 20 minutes. Go Braves!
As directed by Governor Inslee and Superintendent Reykdal, our campus will remain closed for the duration of the 2019-2020 school year. Our Digital Distance Learning Plan has been in place since March 12, and will be followed through the completion of this semester, June 12, 2020,

Financial Aid Given
For the 2019-20 school year, BBHS awarded $2.6 million in tuition assistance and scholarships to families with incomes ranging from $10,000/year to $200,000/year.
48% of our families receive some level of aid.

Starting your freshman year, you will have access to a range of college counseling services designed to help you gain admission to the best college for you.
Hours of Annual Community Service
All students complete a minimum of 80 hours of community service during their four years at BBHS.
Advanced Placement & Honors Courses
With our extensive offering of honors and AP courses, college-level work begins before ever setting foot on a university campus. Honors courses are available beginning in 9th grade. AP courses are available beginning in 10th grade.
Athletic Teams in 22 Sports
More than half of the student body participates in at least one sport each year. At least one "no cut" sport available per season.
It's important that students have the opportunity to thrive beyond the classroom. At BBHS, you can choose from an extensive offering of clubs and activities ranging from Hiking Club, Coding Club, Improv Team, Dance Team, Diversity Club, Cheer Squad, Bowling Team, Ski Club, Asian Pacific Islander Club, Bee Club and more!
