Academics

Bishop Blanchet is a Catholic, college preparatory school that has an established, well-balanced academic program that helps guide a wide range of students in reaching their potential. With the help of our college counselors, our grads attend some of the country’s best schools, from the University of Washington, in our own backyard, to prestigious colleges on the east coast and around the globe. Our dedicated faculty work hard to establish relationships that last well beyond four years, and these personal relationships are even more possible thanks to small class sizes and a 14:1 student to teacher ratio.

Bishop Blanchet offers a comprehensive selection of 27 Honors and AP classes and over 80 electives. To take advantage of these offerings, we have a modified block schedule that allows students to take seven periods per day. Furthermore, Bishop Blanchet has partnered with the University of Washington’s UW in the High School Program to grant students college credit in some courses. Every classroom is equipped with interactive smart boards, and Bishop Blanchet is a 1:1 laptop school.

Bishop Blanchet fosters growth of the whole person. In addition to our wide range of academic offerings, we provide a safe place for students to explore their gifts and talents in the arts, athletics, activities and service. I invite you to set up a visit to spend a day at Bishop Blanchet so you can immerse yourself in a community that will last you a lifetime.
