• Honor Roll

  Students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in the classroom and have earned honor standing are recognized at the end of each semester. 
  
  Honor roll qualifications are: 

  First Honors: 3.8 - 4.0 GPA 
  Second Honors: 3.5 - 3.79 GPA

• Student of the Month

  The Student of the Month program is designed to recognize those students who work hard in their classes and make consistent progress. Students may be honored for academic excellence, service/volunteering, academic improvement, attitude (focus, helping others, tutoring, etc.) or effort. 
  
  These students are celebrated at our recognition assemblies and with a special lunch and photo. 

• National Merit Awards

  The National Merit Scholarship is awarded through the results of the PSAT that juniors take at Bishop Blanchet in October on National Testing Day. The scholarship is awarded to students in the top 1% of all juniors who take the test, typically a score of 218 or higher on the Selection Index.

• Academic Letter Awards

  The Academic Letter awarded by Bishop Blanchet High School is intended to recognize and reward those students who demonstrate and maintain academic excellence in the classroom.

   

  All students who earns a 3.50 cumulative grade point average at the end of three (3) semesters or more of course work at Bishop Blanchet is eligible to earn an academic letter certificate and to purchase a Bishop Blanchet letter jacket. After earning a letter for the first time, a student may add chevrons to the letter for each successive semester that a 3.50 cumulative GPA is maintained.
