    Do you have a student who is a current 6th, 7th, 8th grader or transfer student who wants to learn more about BBHS? Join our mailing list to get the latest Brave News, sign your student up for their Brave Access Pass and to ask any questions about the admissions process.  We are here for you!

  • 2. HSPT Test *Not Required*

    UPDATE as of September 14, 2020

    Due to the extenuating circumstances of this application season, BBHS will not require HSPT testing/test results to apply, or be considered for admission, for the 2021-2022 school year.

  • 3. Submit an Online Application

    Please fill out and submit the ONLINE APPLICATION and fee by January 6, 2021. Follow the directions to create an account, and then complete the application. You can download the required forms listed in the box on the right hand side of this page. The application fee is $30 for domestic applicants and $250 for international/exchange applicants.

  • 4. Submit Transcript Request and Teacher Evaluation Forms

    Forward the Confidential School Report/Transcript Request Form and the Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form to the applicant's present school.

    The student’s school must complete and send these forms to the Bishop Blanchet Admissions Office along with an official transcript (most recent standardized test results and grades from at least 7th and 8th grades) by the January 6, 2021 deadline. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the forms and transcripts have been sent by the deadline. The Admissions Committee will not consider incomplete applications.

Transfer Student Application Process

Bishop Blanchet accepts applications from transfer students at any time during the year. Transfer students typically enroll at the beginning of the Fall semester, though we do accept students at the beginning of our second semester, in late January, as well.

We have transfer students joining our community from around the Puget Sound region - including from Seattle Prep, Holy Names Academy, O'Dea, King's, Eastside Catholic, Annie Wright, SAAS, Lakeside, Nathan Hale, Roosevelt, Bellevue, Ballard, Garfield, Shorecrest, Shorewood, Archbishop Murphy and more. 

Transfer students do not need to take the placement exam to be considered for admission. Please complete the application and submit the Confidential School Report/Transcript Request Form and the Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form to the applicant's present school. The transfer application is considered complete when we have received the application and the recommendation and transcript from the applicant's school.
