Placement Test

All ninth grade applicants to Bishop Blanchet are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Along with grades and teacher recommendations, the results are used for placement in English, Math, and Science courses.  

The test takes approximately four hours to complete and has Language and Math sections, and one written essay.

Students should plan to arrive 20 minutes early on test day. Parking is available in the main parking lot and there will be signs indicating where to check in. Test takers will need their student identification, and two #2 pencils.  Families will receive the results from the testing company in late December.
