The Bishop Blanchet Art Club is a place where creative people gather to share with people who love to be artistic. A variety of mediums are available for student use. Absolutely everyone is welcome. Our goal is to grow as artists, to learn new skills and to share our art through service.
Through the club students can get involved in a service opportunity called The Memory Project. Students receive photos and create portraits of children who are orphaned or disadvantaged in third world countries. These portraits are then sent back to the children. It is a really rewarding experience to do something special for children who need some extra love.
Fees: Assessed as needed. Bring your own supplies for a project. If supplies are provided by the art department, a nominal fee will be charged.
What projects are we going to do for service?
