About our Program
The Bishop Blanchet Cross Country Team has a long tradition of providing young men and women with a non-cut sport that creates opportunities to set and achieve personal goals, to compete and succeed, and to build close friends while having a great time.
All Bishop Blanchet students are welcome to join the team. The cross country program fields over 100 young women committed to each other and the task of self-improvement in both life and running. Our weekly and seasonal awards are based off self-improvement.
As an individual, you will compete every week.

2024 Season
2024 Schedules and Results
Congrats to all our runners who competed in our annal Intrasquad Meet September 7, 2024; this was one of the fastest in school history with two seniors, Lily LaPorte (14:32) and Zoe Louis (14:45) both breaking the school record on the 2.64 mile course. The girls team is ranked #1 in State! Go Bears!
2024 Results and Wrap Up
The Women’s Cross Country team had yet another strong season!
At the Metro Championship, the Bears placed three runners in the top 10 (Zoë Louis ‘25 placed 2nd, Lily LaPorte ‘25 placed 7th, and Corinne Hudders ‘28 placed 8th) and all seven Varsity runners finished in the top 23 out of 104 runners. At Metros, the Bears brought home their 23rd Metro Championship in school history.
At the District Championship the Bears placed three runners in the top 15 (Zoë Louis finished 5th, Chloe Cromwell ‘27 finished 14th, and Corinne Hudders ‘28 finished 15th) and all seven runners finished in the top 52 out of 93 runners. The Bears finished strong earning 2nd place in the SEA-KING District Championship Meet.
Our Women’s Cross Country team capped off an incredible season by finishing 2nd at the WIAA State Championship Meet in Pasco. Two Runners placed in the top 20 (Zoë Louis ‘25 placed 13th and Lily LaPorte ‘25 placed 17th) and all seven Varsity runners finished in the top 44 of 194 runners.
