About our Program

Welcome to Bishop Blanchet Football! Our program is built on the foundation that we are all contributing to something bigger than ourselves. Greater than the individual, we strive to build camaraderie and brotherhood among our players and coaches while also understanding and appreciating that we are part of an amazing school community. Regardless of playing time, position, or age, every player is an important contributor to our program.

Everything that we do as a program works to build young men who strive to be the best versions of themselves, love their teammates and contribute to something bigger than themselves, and do their best to be great people off of the field. Throughout the year, our players make the choice to practice, lift weights, and compete while maintaining their top priority of being students. Our players make these sacrifices because of the family and community that we value so much.

Our incredible community stretches beyond our roster to include parents, students, teachers, alumni, and fans - all of whom we are grateful to have on our side.

2024 Season Recap

The 2024 football team finished 6th in the Metro League and earned their way into the playoffs this season, ending with a hard fought loss to Decatur. Our program continues to grow as we had 150 players across our three teams (Varsity, JV, and Freshmen). We also featured our largest senior class ever (31) and had nine players earn first or second team all-league honors. We are very proud of the effort put forth by all three teams, and look forward to the future.
