Prayer & Sacraments

Prayer & Sacraments

An all-school Mass with mandatory attendance is offered once a month, including Holy Days of Obligation and important feast days. Students are encouraged to take an active role in the liturgical ministries through lectoring, singing, and serving at the altar.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

Twice a year, during Advent and Lent, all students have the opportunity for individual confession with priests from our local parishes as part of our theology classes.

Prayer begins and ends our school day. At the start of the day, a reflection is offered over the intercom for the entire school community. Students, faculty and staff are all encouraged to share a morning reflection. Additionally, each individual class starts out in prayer. School assemblies also begin with prayer. It is a common practice that sports teams pray before their games and practices.

End of day prayer:

May the Lord bless you and keep you;
May the Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you.
May the Lord look upon you with kindness and grant you peace.
