  • 1. Register for a "Brave for a Day" Visit

    This step is optional, but highly recommended! The best way to see if BBHS is the right fit for you is to spend a full day on campus immersed in "life as a Brave." You'll sit in on our exciting classes, meet current students and will have the opportunity to get all of your questions answered.

  • 2. Register for the High School Placement Test

    To be considered for admission, merit-based scholarships, and class placements, Bishop Blanchet requires all prospective ninth grade students to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). Registration is now open! Please click here to register. 

    The HSPT consists of multiple-choice questions for verbal and mathematics as well as a 30-minute essay. The entire test takes about three hours to complete. The 2018 HSPT exam will be offered on Saturday, December 15th or Sunday, December 16th. 
  • 3. Submit an Online Application

    Fill out and submit the ONLINE APPLICATION and fee by January 8, 2018. Follow the directions to create an account, and then complete the application. You can download the required forms listed in the box on the right hand side of this page. The application fee is $30 for domestic applicants and $250 for international/exchange applicants.

    International application deadlines:

    Priority deadline for international applicants: January 8, 2018. 

    Regular deadline for international applicants: March 1, 2018

    If you do not wish to apply online, you may print out an application and mail it to us by January 8, 2018.

    ** Applications for the 2017-18 school year are no longer being accepted. Please note we do not accept spring semester transfers. International students are now welcome to apply for the 2018-19 school year. **
  • 4. Submit Transcript Request and Teacher Evaluation Forms

    Forward the Confidential School Report/Transcript Request Form and the Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form to the applicant's present school.

    The student’s school must complete and send these forms to the Bishop Blanchet Admissions Office along with an official transcript (most recent standardized test results and grades from at least 7th and 8th grades) by the January 8, 2018 deadline. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the forms and transcripts have been sent by the deadline. The Admissions Committee will not consider incomplete applications.

Thursday, October 4:  Catholic High School Informational Night at Sacred Heart School in Bellevue (7PM)

Friday, October 5:  Bishop Blanchet 7th and 8th Grade Dance (7-9:30PM)

Tuesday, October 9:  Catholic High School Informational Night at St. George School in South Seattle (7PM)
Thursday, October 11:  Catholic High School Informational Night at St. Luke School in Shoreline (7PM)
Wednesday, October 24:  Bishop Blanchet Open House  (5:30-8PM)

Saturday, November 3:  Bishop Blanchet Grade School Math Contest

Saturday, December 15:  High School Placement Test (9AM)

or Sunday, December 16:  High School Placement Test (1PM)

Saturday, December 8:  Bishop Blanchet Grade School Speech Tournament 

Monday, December 31: Tuition Assistance Application Deadline

Wednesday, January 9:  Regular Application Deadline

Thursday, February 14:  Notification Letters Mailed

Thursday, February 28:  Enrollment Registration Deadline

Transfer Student Application Process

Bishop Blanchet accepts applications from transfer students at any time during the year. Transfer students do not need to take the placement exam to be considered for admission. Please complete the application and submit the Confidential School Report/Transcript Request Form and the Confidential Teacher Evaluation Form to the applicant's present school. The transfer application is considered complete when we have received the application and the recommendation and transcript from the applicant's school.
