The Sound and Light Crew is an integral organization of students dedicated to supporting and assisting the Activities Office, Campus Ministries Office, Advancement Office, and the Facilities Department in the logistics of all school events. The purpose of this leadership team is to support in the planning, setup, execution of and tear-down of school activities including, assemblies, all-school masses, athletic events, graduation and the spring extravaganza. These students have expressed a strong interest in the technical (sound, video and lights) operations of events.
Students in all grade levels are encouraged to apply for a position on this team at any time during the school year. Freshmen are encouraged to apply to join this group at the beginning of the second semester. Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA to remain active and to remain on the rotation for work events. Grades are checked regularly by the AP of Student Activities.
This is considered a Leadership position. Students are expected to maintain a positive public image and to remain in good standing in all aspects of their behavior. Student will rotate in teams of four to five students and rotate in their assignments for assemblies or after school and evening events.
Located in Seattle, Washington, Bishop Blanchet High School is a private, coed Catholic school for grades 9-12.
